Mick’s up with Optimism

”Eat a live frog first thing in the morning, and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day!”
Mark Twain
Food for thought
I saw this posted on Facebook last week:
“When you feel optimistic your metabolic rate can rise & you can lose weight eating the same amount.  When you feel pessimistic your metabolic rate can fall & you can gain weight eating the same amount of food.  If you're not fulfilled & you feel stressed you can sometimes eat to calm yourself & sedate your inner frustration.  Setting realistic expectations on self & others helps reduce stress & moderates eating patterns.”

That’s great food for thought for all of us.

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
