Mick's Feelings about the 1st Day of School

Proud Daddy!
The kidderz headed out to school for their first day of the new school year.  Summer weather is nearing an end.  Summer break is history.  The responsibility of learning has begun again.  The last thing before leaving for the bus, my son tweeted, "Goodbye, Summer."  We had fun joking around about his new "job" starting up on September 6th, if the final interview went well on Thursday, September 1st (the school's open house).  My daughter reminds us, as our jaws drop to the floor when thinking about this being our son's last year in middle school:  next is high school and then college.  Hush, girl!

I love watching my children grow.  God has wonderful plans for them.  We brought them into this world to be a light in the darkness.  Each day brings a new facet to their personalities.  It's a beautiful thing.

To remind them of this every day as they head out the door, we say, "Remember who you are!"  They reply, "I am a champion!"

Thank you, Maximized Living, for teaching us ways to maximize our minds, so we can raise up a victorious generation.
